A while back, I was browsing The Snob’s trade page at The Baseball Card Snob and found a few Twins there, so struck up a trade email thread with him. We bounced it around a while and ended up with a swap that netted a nice variety of Twins, including these:

Thanks, Snob! In addition, I found a few cards on eBay from a single dealer that had a favorable combined shipping cost. I wound up with five of the seven cards of his auctions that I was sitting on, and besides getting a good price, it included another Rod Carew GU and my first Jim Kaat GU!
2001 Upper Deck Great Gloves Jersey Card #GG-JK Jim Kaat (jersey); 200 Topps Gallery ARTifact #AR-RCA Rod Carew (jersey)
Also, I’ve continued making several trades on The Bench, and here are several of the pickups, including a Topps Black Border, a Mauer chrome RC, and a hard-to-find (for me anyway) Topps Glossy All-Star card.
clockwise, from top left: 2011 Topps Black Border #132 Brian Duensing [12/60]; 1989 Topps Glossy All-Stars #54 Jeff Reardon; 2002 Topps Chrome #622 Joe Mauer; 2003 Topps Gallery Artist Proof #43 Harmon Killebrew; 1997 Upper Deck #HC20 Kirby Puckett; 2006 Topps Co-Signers Changing Faces Silver Bronze #48A Joe Mauer/Justin Morneau [101/125]
And last but not least: LEWWWW!!!! Congrats on your long, successful journey back to the bigs.
