The Sunday commencement ceremony went quite smoothly (2 hrs, as advertised), and 239 of St. Charles West’s finest were given their walking papers, including K:
K and her proud parents
And, ironically, the next morning K began her summer class at the local community college. Should be a nice way to ease into things before leaving to Mizzou in a couple months.

Congrats. Taking some summer classes before you get to university is a really good idea. I did that for two summers (before and after freshman year). It lets you have a lighter workload during the school year.

Since I’ll be starting at Kansas around the same time she starts at Mizzou, we shall, unfortunately, have to become bitter rivals. But, until then – best of luck!
